Description

This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is an easy, fruity dessert with layers of sweet strawberries, creamy cheesecake filling, and buttery cake topping. It’s simple to prepare and perfect for gatherings or weeknight treats.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced (or frozen strawberries)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (or gluten-free cake mix)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (or coconut oil)
  • 1 cup milk (or almond/oat milk for dairy-free)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Spread sliced strawberries evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spoon over strawberries in dollops.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top without stirring.
  5. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Pour milk slowly over the top to help moisten the cake mix.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of salt.
  8. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

  • Do not mix layers—this is key for dump cake texture.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for extra richness.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
