These Garlic Parmesan Sweet Potato Wedges are a healthy and delicious snack. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated with garlic, Parmesan, and fresh parsley for irresistible flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut into wedges.
- In a large bowl, toss sweet potato wedges with olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread wedges evenly on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until wedges are golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the wedges and bake for an additional 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and optional red pepper flakes. Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak sweet potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before baking and pat dry.
- Adjust garlic and red pepper flakes to taste for milder or spicier flavor.
