Ingredients
- For the Blondie Base:
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups (281g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- For the Cinnamon Swirl:
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar for the swirl.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly over batter and gently swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 25โ30 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
