These Blueberry Brie Jalapeño Poppers are a sweet, spicy, and creamy appetizer with a gourmet twist. Fresh jalapeños are stuffed with rich brie cheese and topped with blueberry preserves, creating a perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and creaminess.

Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 6 to 8 ounces brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/3 cup blueberry preserves or fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. Place jalapeños on the baking sheet, cut side up.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with a cube of brie cheese.
  5. Top each with a small spoon of blueberry preserves or a few fresh blueberries.
  6. Drizzle lightly with honey and sprinkle with sea salt.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until jalapeños are tender and cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from oven and top with chopped nuts, lemon zest, and fresh herbs if desired.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes
