Description

White Chocolate Peppermint Cookies are soft, festive cookies loaded with creamy white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes, perfect for holiday celebrations or gifting.


Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
