Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices thick-cut bread
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir and remove from heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a clean skillet over medium heat.
- Add a layer of cheddar, then the cooked beef, then mozzarella cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook 3โ4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until bread is golden and cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
