Description
This Cheese Dip will make you famous at any party! Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor from tomatoes, chilies, and fresh herbs, itโs perfect for tortilla chips or fresh veggies.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
- 1/4 cup diced green chilies (canned or fresh)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Tortilla chips or fresh veggies for serving
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Add diced tomatoes, green chilies, green onions, and cilantro, stirring to combine.
- Season with cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until fully incorporated.
- Keep warm on low heat or transfer to a serving bowl.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables for dipping.
Notes
- For extra heat, add diced jalapeรฑos or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Can be made ahead and reheated gently on the stove or in the microwave.
