Ingredients
- 1 lb beef tenderloin, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup diced jalapenos (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef pieces and sear until browned on all sides, about 3โ4 minutes per side.
- Add diced jalapenos and minced garlic to the skillet, sautรฉ for 1โ2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and lime juice. Pour over the beef and jalapenos.
- Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5โ7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the beef.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve immediately with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
