Ingredients
- 2 pounds of BEEF shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
- 3-4 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped (adjust based on your heat preference)
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef cubes and sear on all sides until browned.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, jalapenos, and ground ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the seared beef and stir to coat.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 25โ30 minutes, or until beef is tender and sauce has thickened slightly.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with steamed rice or vegetables.
