Description

A warm, gooey snickerdoodle cobbler with a soft, spiced base and a sweet cinnamon-sugar topping. Perfect for dessert lovers craving cinnamon goodness.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water

Topping:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and 2 tsp cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and hot water. Pour evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
  5. Bake for 35โ€“40 minutes until the top is golden and set.
  6. Mix topping sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over warm cobbler before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Can substitute milk with plant-based milk for a dairy-free version.
