Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs are an easy, family-friendly comfort food. Tender meatballs simmered in savory brown gravy with a hint of onion and Worcestershire sauce make for a hearty, crowd-pleasing meal.
Ingredients
- 1 bag (26 oz) frozen meatballs (about 30โ35 meatballs)
- 2 cups reduced-sodium beef broth
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, brown gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over meatballs.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6โ7 hours or HIGH for 3โ4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch and cold water to make a slurry and stir into the gravy to thicken.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
- Use reduced-sodium broth to control saltiness.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a complete meal.
- Frozen meatballs can be cooked directly without thawing.
