Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef shoulder or beef butt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 can pineapple chunks
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
- Place beef in slow cooker.
- Mix garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and cornstarch; pour over beef.
- Add pineapple chunks and green onion on top.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender and easy to shred.
- Serve over rice or noodles with sauce.

- Optional: Brown the beef in a skillet before adding to the slow cooker for extra flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
