Description

This Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake combines succulent shrimp with garlic, lemon, and Parmesan for a quick, easy, and delightfully flavorful pasta dinner. Perfect for weeknight meals or entertaining guests.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sautรฉ until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3โ€“4 minutes. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  5. Deglaze the skillet with white wine (or chicken broth), scraping up any browned bits. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
  6. Toss cooked pasta with shrimp, sauce, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
  7. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, if using.
  8. Bake for 10โ€“12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the top before baking.
