Description
These Samoa (Caramel Delite) Rice Krispie Treats are a decadent dessert layering crispy cereal with gooey caramel, shredded coconut, and milk chocolate for a sweet, chewy, and crunchy treat.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 5 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Caramel Crunch cereal
- 11 oz bag of caramels
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut
- 3 cups milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and fold in Caramel Crunch cereal until evenly coated. Press mixture into a greased 9×13-inch pan. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan, melt caramels with heavy cream over low heat until smooth. Stir in shredded coconut.
- Spread the caramel-coconut mixture evenly over the rice krispie layer.
- Melt milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over the caramel-coconut layer. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
- Use mini marshmallows for easier melting and smoother texture.
- Press layers gently but firmly for neat slices.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
