Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Optional: Sear chicken breasts in olive oil over medium heat 2–3 minutes per side for extra flavor.
- Place chicken in a crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture over chicken breasts.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until chicken is cooked through (165°F / 74°C).
- Optional: Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top in the last 15 minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
