Description

One Pot Beefaroni is a classic comfort food made with tender elbow macaroni, seasoned ground beef, and rich tomato sauce—all cooked together in a single pot for zero fuss and easy cleanup. It’s a family-friendly dinner ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (lean or regular)
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional: mozzarella, cheddar, or Italian blend)

Instructions

  1. In a large deep skillet or pot over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, and uncooked elbow macaroni.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  6. If using cheese, stir it in until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium broth to control salt levels.
  • Add a pinch of sugar if the tomato sauce tastes too acidic.
  • Top with extra cheese for a richer finish.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
