Ingredients
- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken cubes and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sautรฉ until fragrant.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth; simmer for 3โ4 minutes.
- Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses; stir until melted and sauce is creamy.
- Toss in cooked bowtie pasta until well coated.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
