Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken is a crispy, cheesy delight featuring tender chicken breasts coated in a flavorful Parmesan-panko crust and baked to perfection. Perfect for a family dinner or special occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, and lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- In a small bowl, combine panko, Parmesan, mozzarella, melted butter, mayonnaise, parsley, and garlic powder to create the crust mixture.
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Press each chicken breast into the crust mixture to coat evenly.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 2โ3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15โ20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and crust is crispy.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges. Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for 1โ2 minutes at the end of baking.
- Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a side salad.
