Description

A colorful and festive Halloween Taco Dip thatโ€™s perfect for parties! Layers of refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, cheese, and fresh veggies create a spooky and delicious dip.


Ingredients

  • 1 16-ounce can refried beans
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces sour cream, divided
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 12-ounce container tomato salsa (or 16-ounce container)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 small soft flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • ยฝ cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ยฝ cup green onions, chopped
  • ยฝ cup cilantro, chopped
  • ยฝ cup assorted cherry tomatoes, halved


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) if baking tortillas for chips.
  2. For homemade tortilla chips, brush tortillas with olive oil, cut into triangles, and bake until crispy.
  3. In a serving dish, spread refried beans evenly as the first layer.
  4. Mix cream cheese with 4 tablespoons of sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread over the beans.
  5. Spread salsa on top, followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Top with black beans, green onions, cilantro, and cherry tomatoes.
  7. Serve with baked or store-bought tortilla chips for dipping.
