Ingredients
- 1 16-ounce can refried beans
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces sour cream, divided
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 12-ounce container tomato salsa (or 16-ounce container)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 small soft flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- ยฝ cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- ยฝ cup green onions, chopped
- ยฝ cup cilantro, chopped
- ยฝ cup assorted cherry tomatoes, halved
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) if baking tortillas for chips.
- For homemade tortilla chips, brush tortillas with olive oil, cut into triangles, and bake until crispy.
- In a serving dish, spread refried beans evenly as the first layer.
- Mix cream cheese with 4 tablespoons of sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread over the beans.
- Spread salsa on top, followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
- Top with black beans, green onions, cilantro, and cherry tomatoes.
- Serve with baked or store-bought tortilla chips for dipping.
