Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb potato gnocchi
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned and cooked through, about 5โ7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sautรฉ for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add potato gnocchi, cooked chicken, Parmesan cheese, and Italian herbs. Stir to combine.
- Cook for 5โ7 minutes until gnocchi is tender and sauce has thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve warm.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut cream.
- You can also add vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition.
