Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed French onion soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add butter, onion powder, and garlic powder to the beef and stir to combine.
  4. In a large bowl, mix cooked rice, French onion soup, sour cream, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Fold in the cooked ground beef mixture.
  6. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 25โ€“30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
