Description

French Dip Tortilla Roll-Ups are a fun twist on the classic sandwich, featuring thinly sliced roast beef, melted cheese, and a flavorful au jus sauce, all rolled into soft tortillas for an easy and delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef (deli style or leftover)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder (for au jus)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (for au jus)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
  3. Brush tortillas with butter mixture on one side.
  4. Layer roast beef and shredded cheese on each tortilla. Roll tightly and place seam side down in a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and tortillas are slightly golden.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare au jus: In a small saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until warm.
  7. Serve roll-ups with au jus for dipping.

Notes

  • Can use leftover roast beef from dinner for convenience.
  • Top with extra cheese before baking for a gooey finish.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 1–2 days and reheated gently.
