Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup vanilla custard
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Make a small indentation in each cookie and fill with about 1 teaspoon of custard.
- Bake for 10โ12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil and drizzle over cooled cookie bites.
