Description
Delicious Chicken Lo Mein is a quick and easy stir-fry dish with tender chicken, colorful vegetables, and savory noodles tossed in a flavorful soy and sesame sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Lo Mein noodles (fresh or dried)
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- ยผ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
Instructions
- Cook Lo Mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sautรฉ until fragrant.
- Add chicken and cook until no longer pink.
- Add bell peppers, carrots, and green onions. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender.
- Add cooked noodles and soy sauce. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with sesame seeds or extra green onions.
Notes
- Use fresh noodles for best texture, but dried noodles work well too.
- Adjust soy sauce to taste; add a splash of oyster sauce for extra flavor if desired.
- Leftovers store in the fridge for 2โ3 days and reheat gently.
