Description

These Crockpot Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs are a crowd-pleasing favorite! Juicy meatballs simmer in a sweet and tangy pineapple teriyaki sauce, creating a perfect balance of savory and tropical flavors โ€” ideal for parties, potlucks, or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen meatballs (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice, drained (reserve juice)
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix teriyaki sauce with 1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice. Pour over the meatballs.
  3. Add pineapple chunks and diced bell peppers. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 4โ€“5 hours or High for 2โ€“3 hours, until meatballs are heated through and flavors meld together.
  5. If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and stir into the crockpot during the last 20 minutes of cooking.
  6. Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • These meatballs make great appetizers or can be served over rice for a complete meal.
  • Try adding a splash of soy sauce or chili flakes for extra depth or heat.
  • Use homemade meatballs if you prefer โ€” just brown them first.
