Ingredients
- 2 lbs frozen meatballs (beef, chicken, or turkey)
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice, drained (reserve juice)
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, mix teriyaki sauce with 1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice. Pour over the meatballs.
- Add pineapple chunks and diced bell peppers. Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on Low for 4โ5 hours or High for 2โ3 hours, until meatballs are heated through and flavors meld together.
- If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and stir into the crockpot during the last 20 minutes of cooking.
- Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
