Description

CrockPot Chicken Tortellini is a creamy, hearty slow-cooker pasta dish with tender chicken, cheese tortellini, and a rich blend of marinara, cream, and spinachโ€”perfect for easy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast (about 4 medium breasts)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion granules
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 lb cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated


Instructions

  1. Spray the crockpot with olive oil spray.
  2. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour marinara sauce over them.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red chili flakes. Pour in chicken broth.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  5. Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir in cheese tortellini, mozzarella, and heavy cream.
  6. Cook for an additional 20-30 minutes on low until tortellini is tender.
  7. Stir in baby spinach until wilted. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve hot.
