Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- Salt, to taste
- Garlic pepper, to taste
- 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, beat the egg with 1/4 cup milk, salt, and garlic pepper. Dip each chicken breast in the mixture.
- Coat the chicken with crushed Ritz crackers and shredded cheddar cheese, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Place chicken in the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, 1/4 cup milk, sour cream, and butter. Pour over the chicken evenly.
- Bake for 35โ40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and topping is golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm with your favorite sides.
Notes
- Use freshly shredded cheddar for better melting and flavor.
- For extra crunch, broil the top for 2โ3 minutes at the end of baking.
