Description

Crispy Ritz Cracker Chicken is a simple and indulgent dish featuring golden, crunchy chicken breasts coated with Ritz crackers and cheddar cheese, baked and served with a creamy, comforting sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt, to taste
  • Garlic pepper, to taste
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg with 1/4 cup milk, salt, and garlic pepper. Dip each chicken breast in the mixture.
  3. Coat the chicken with crushed Ritz crackers and shredded cheddar cheese, pressing lightly to adhere.
  4. Place chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, 1/4 cup milk, sour cream, and butter. Pour over the chicken evenly.
  6. Bake for 35โ€“40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and topping is golden and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite sides.
