Crispy Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Cod is a quick, healthy, and flavorful fish recipe. The panko-Parmesan crust gives it a golden crunch, while a zesty mayo-mustard-lemon topping adds a creamy finishing touch.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  4. Coat each cod fillet lightly with the mayo mixture, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10โ€“12 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and crust is golden.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
