Description

Creamy Ranch Chicken Breasts are tender and flavorful. Chicken breasts are seared and baked in a rich sauce made with ranch seasoning, sour cream, milk, and cream of chicken soup for a comforting, easy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable/canola oil
  • 1 oz packet Ranch seasoning mix (about 3 tablespoons)
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup sour cream, room temperature
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat melted butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and place in a baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning, milk, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and onion powder until smooth.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken in the baking dish.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce is bubbly.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

  • Optional: add vegetables like broccoli or green beans to the baking dish for a complete meal.
