Creamy Pepperoncini Chicken Skillet is a quick and easy dish where tender chicken strips are cooked in a rich cream sauce with Parmesan, roasted red peppers, and tangy pepperoncini for a flavorful weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 lbs chicken, cut into thin strips
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 white onion, diced
- 2 tbsp garlic, diced
- ยฝ cup chicken stock
- ยฝ cup roasted red pepper, drained and sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ยฝ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- ยฝ cup pepperoncini peppers, drained (sliced, rings, or whole)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken strips, salt, and pepper; cook until lightly browned.
- Add diced onion and garlic; sautรฉ until onion is translucent.
- Pour in chicken stock and bring to a simmer.
- Add roasted red peppers, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning; stir until combined.
- Stir in pepperoncini peppers and cook for 3โ5 minutes until sauce is slightly thickened and chicken is cooked through.
- Serve hot, optionally over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.

- Adjust the number of pepperoncini for more or less tangy heat.
