  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ยฝ cups ditalini pasta (uncooked)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery; sautรฉ 4โ€“5 minutes until vegetables soften.
  3. Stir in chicken broth, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add ditalini pasta and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until pasta is tender, about 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined. Heat through but do not boil.
