Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a quick and delicious 30-minute meal featuring tender chicken, twisted pasta, and a rich, velvety garlic cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 lb twisted pasta (fusilli, penne, or rotini)
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 4–5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning, divided use (half for chicken)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken cubes with half of the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cook chicken until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and remaining Italian seasoning until sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan rather than pre-shredded cheese.
- Optional: Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for more color and nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated gently.
