Coconut Lime Fish with Garlic Butter is a zesty and creamy delight! Tender white fish fillets are cooked in a luscious coconut-lime sauce with fragrant garlic and fresh cilantro, perfect for a quick and healthy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 6-ounce white fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Zest and juice of 2 limes
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lime wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Season fish fillets with salt and pepper. Cook for 3โ€“4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sautรฉ for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add coconut milk, lime juice, lime zest, and honey. Stir and simmer for 2โ€“3 minutes.
  5. Return fish to the skillet and spoon sauce over the fillets. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
