Description

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 cups day-old bread, cubed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add heavy cream and milk, whisking until smooth.
  4. Stir in cubed bread until well coated. Let sit for 5โ€“10 minutes to absorb the liquid.
  5. Spoon the mixture into prepared muffin tins, filling each about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 20โ€“25 minutes, until tops are golden and set.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Optional: sprinkle with extra cinnamon sugar or drizzle with maple syrup.
