Description

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Snowballs are rich, creamy, and coated in chocolate with a delightful caramel drizzle. Perfect for holiday treats or anytime you crave a decadent bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk or dark chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional for marbled effect)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, to thin chocolate if needed)
  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs (e.g., Oreo, with filling removed)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted, for the “cookie” layer)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and graham cracker crumbs until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, mix cookie crumbs with melted butter to create the coating layer.
  4. Roll chilled peanut butter balls in the cookie crumb mixture and set aside.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil (if needed) until smooth.
  6. Dip each snowball in the melted chocolate to coat, then place on a parchment-lined tray.
  7. Optional: Drizzle with melted white chocolate and/or caramel sauce.
  8. Chill until chocolate is set before serving.

Notes

  • Use any type of chocolate you prefer for coating.
  • Snowballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • For a more festive look, add colored sprinkles or crushed nuts on top.
