Chicken Pillows with Creamy Parmesan Sauce are perfect for cozy nights. Tender shredded chicken is encased in crescent roll dough, baked until golden, and served with a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce thatโ€™s comforting and indulgent.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp powdered garlic
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with onion powder, parsley, garlic, egg, flour, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Unroll crescent roll dough and cut into squares. Place a portion of the chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold dough over to form pillows and seal edges.
  4. Place pillows on prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with Panko breadcrumbs. Bake 18โ€“20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. While baking, prepare the creamy Parmesan sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then add cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, and Parmesan. Stir until smooth and heated through.
  6. Serve chicken pillows warm with creamy Parmesan sauce drizzled on top.
