Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp powdered garlic
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 6 tbsp butter
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with onion powder, parsley, garlic, egg, flour, salt, and black pepper.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and cut into squares. Place a portion of the chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold dough over to form pillows and seal edges.
- Place pillows on prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with Panko breadcrumbs. Bake 18โ20 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the creamy Parmesan sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then add cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, and Parmesan. Stir until smooth and heated through.
- Serve chicken pillows warm with creamy Parmesan sauce drizzled on top.
