Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry egg noodles (about 8 oz)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ยฝ cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas or veggie medley
  • ยผ tsp black pepper
  • ยฝ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp melted butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, diced chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, peas, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  5. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 25โ€“30 minutes until the casserole is hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
  7. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
