Description

This Chicken Crust Pizza is a game-changer! A low-carb crust made entirely from ground chicken, Parmesan, and egg, topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. Perfect for pizza night without the extra carbs!


Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Toppings:
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the chicken mixture into a thin, even crust on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the crust for 15–20 minutes until firm and lightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven and spread marinara sauce over the crust.
  6. Top with mozzarella slices and tomato slices.
  7. Bake an additional 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve warm.

Notes

  • Pat the crust dry with paper towels if it releases moisture before baking.
  • Optional: add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
