Ingredients

  • For the Cobbler Topping:

    • 1/3 cup brown sugar

    • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, diced


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease well.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in cherries.
  5. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  6. For the cobbler topping, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then cut in cold butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over muffins.
