Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves or chopped parsley
  • 1/3 cup hot pepper jelly


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and garlic powder. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in cheddar and cream cheese until dough comes together. Fold in thyme or parsley.
  4. Roll dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Press your thumb into the center to create a well.
