Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 packet Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix (plus ingredients listed on packet)
- 1 ยฝ cups milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- ยฝ cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ยฝ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 ยฝ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to biscuit mix instructions.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, milk, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, black pepper, and parsley.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare Cheddar Bay biscuits according to packet instructions and arrange them evenly on top of the chicken mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake as directed on biscuit packet until biscuits are golden and casserole is bubbly, about 25โ30 minutes.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes
- Swap frozen vegetables with fresh vegetables if desired.
- Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for 2โ3 days and can be reheated in the oven.
