Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

- For the Rice: 1 cup long-grain white rice, 2 cups chicken broth, 1/2 teaspoon salt
- For the Creamy Sauce: 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 cups whole milk, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon thyme, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
- Cook rice according to package instructions using chicken broth and salt.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk and chicken broth, cook until slightly thickened.
- Add garlic powder, thyme, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the creamy sauce.
- Serve chicken over cooked rice and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
