These Baked Cream Cheese Chicken Taquitos are crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor! Shredded chicken is combined with cream cheese, cheddar, and spices, then rolled into tortillas and baked to golden perfection for a fun, family-friendly meal or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 10 small flour or corn tortillas
- Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place 2โ3 tablespoons of filling on each tortilla and roll tightly. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Place taquitos seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet and lightly brush or spray with cooking oil.
- Bake for 15โ20 minutes, until tortillas are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove toothpicks, serve warm with sour cream or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- You can make these ahead of time and freeze before baking for quick meals.
