Description

Baked Cream Cheese Chicken Taquitos are a delicious, cheesy twist on traditional taquitos. Filled with tender shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, and spices, theyโ€™re baked to crispy perfection for an easy, crowd-pleasing meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 10 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spoon a portion of the mixture onto each tortilla and roll tightly.
  4. Place rolled taquitos seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush or spray with cooking spray/olive oil.
  5. Bake for 15โ€“20 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve warm with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole for dipping.
