Description
Crispy, flavorful ranch-coated portobello mushrooms made in the air fryer. A quick and easy appetizer or side dish perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic and onion seasoning
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing mix
- 8 ounces portobello mushroom caps, cleaned
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a shallow bowl, mix flour with garlic and onion seasoning.
- In another bowl, place ranch dressing. In a third bowl, combine panko bread crumbs and dry ranch seasoning.
- Dip each mushroom cap first in flour mixture, then ranch dressing, then coat with panko mixture.
- Spray air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and arrange mushrooms in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10โ12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.
Notes
- Can use any mushroom variety, such as button or cremini, if portobello is unavailable.
- Optional: serve with extra ranch dressing for dipping.
- Adjust cooking time depending on mushroom size and air fryer model.
