Description

Crispy, flavorful ranch-coated portobello mushrooms made in the air fryer. A quick and easy appetizer or side dish perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic and onion seasoning
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing mix
  • 8 ounces portobello mushroom caps, cleaned
  • Nonstick cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix flour with garlic and onion seasoning.
  3. In another bowl, place ranch dressing. In a third bowl, combine panko bread crumbs and dry ranch seasoning.
  4. Dip each mushroom cap first in flour mixture, then ranch dressing, then coat with panko mixture.
  5. Spray air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and arrange mushrooms in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 10โ€“12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.

Notes

  • Can use any mushroom variety, such as button or cremini, if portobello is unavailable.
  • Optional: serve with extra ranch dressing for dipping.
